A web application for voting through the internet for the nominees/parties has to be developed. Social Security Number (SSN or Aadhaar Number) is used as a primary key. The citizen will login in the E-vote website with the help of SSN as username and password (by default will be the date of birth of the citizen which can be changed by the citizen in the first login). The next level will ask for the thumb impression through the biometric device. If both the input data matches, then the system will display the "Voting" page based on the locality details of the citizen who have logged in. The software is accessible only in the KIOSK centre available in each and every polling area. The web application shall allow the Village Administrative officer to add a new entry, update the existing details like address, Date of birth, Marital status etc. based on the request given by the citizen.
