Can someone explain to me why it's up and not down. I feel like it would be downward if we apply the right hand rule, the Thumb will face left $($west$)$ and with an open hand, our fingers will face into the page leaving our palm downward $(-$y$).$ Is this because we have to do something with curling our fingers?
