The system pressure must not exceed 6 Bar and you must clamp a component with 5KN of force, the first cylinder actives a limit switch and waits 3 seconds before stamping the clamped component with 10KN of force. The system must be able to be started by pressing 1 of 2 push buttons and should automatically return to its start position after stamping the component

You must provide the following:

1. Calculations used for deciding the system components
2. A full system pneumatic and electrical schematic
3. A report showing the reasons for your design choice and a explanation of the calculations

b) You must design a hydraulic circuit which satisfies the following requirements from a customer.

A system needs to be able to operate a hydraulic door which can close with a force of 500KN. The door needs to move 1 meter in 10 seconds. There should then be a second cylinder which provides a locking mechanism for the door which is actuated by a limit switch. The system pressure is set at 160 Bar.

You must provide the following information:

1. Calculations showing the minimum diameter of the door cylinder.
2. A full system schematic
3. Minimum output flow rate of the pump to extend the cylinder in 10 seconds
4. A report showing the reasons for your design choice and a explanation of the calculations
