A moulding operation takes 90 seconds per part. Allowing for temperature adjust ments and maintenance downtime the moulders are about 80 per cent efficient How many moulders are required? Another Problem . Calculate the number of machines that can be operated by one operator if the setting time per machine is 15 minutes and the working time is 25 hours. Also calculate the output per man hour if each machine produces 50 units per hour. Ignore the relaxation periods.
