Abby Harris has worked at Diary Queen for three months. One evening her supervisor calls her into the back room and tells her that he thinks she has been stealing money from the register. He tells Abby that he is going to call the police unless she confesses. Abby is horrified. She has never stolen a thing in her life and refuses to confess. Then when Abby gets up to leave the supervisor grabs Abbys purse and tells her that he is going to confiscate it until the police arrive. Abby wants to leave and knows she could just walk out the door but doesnt want to leave her purse, so she remains for the 45 minutes that it takes the police to come. When the police arrive, they question her briefly and then let her go. It later comes out that another employee was the thief. Abby sues the store and her supervisor for false imprisonment.
