About Final Report & Presentation
The final report is a very significant part of this course. Regardless of your simulation results, I would like to understand how you justify your decisions, successes, and failures in each period. You should also explain how you implemented the strategies.
If the simulation results are not great, you can compensate it with a compelling presentation and report. The best presentations and reports will get extra credit.
You might have some questions such as:
.What is a good report?
.How should we present it?
A. Report (for groups: only one submission per group)
Good report will includes:
Vision, Mission
Strategic Goals (Corp., and Divisional or Vehicle)
Strategies (Action Plans and Resource Allocations)
Team Structure and each team members roles and responsibilities
Each periods Decision Summary and Memo (major decisions with rationale, resources allocated, expected outcomes incl. Pro-Forma projections)
Metrics / scorecard for each vehicle and your Firm
You can use/improve the content of previous reports
Feel free about the structure of the report but it should be between 10-15 pages for teams and 5-7 pages for individuals (Times New Romans, 12, Double Space)
It is very important that you justify your strategic decisions and changes. If you either failed or succeed you should explain that. You should explain why changes are made, e.g., strategic goals, new products, new market segments,... and why it was a good decision or bad decision.
B. Power Points (for groups: only one submission per group)
Use Microsoft PowerPoint for your presentations
Each person in your team is responsible for a part of the presentation
The presentations will be assessed individually
