About two years ago I decided I needed a change and left the classroom to work at a local Educational Service Agency and have been their Executive Assistant of Special Education since April of 2023. In this position, I work under six special education directors and assist various supervisors, coordinators, departments, and external stakeholders. Effective communication is crucial in my role, as I am often the intermediary between departments within our organization and external schools, districts, and service agencies. I look forward to expanding my skills and knowledge of communication through this course, which is my second towards obtaining my master's in Management and Organizational Leadership
