Abstract:

OBjECTIVES: Shit work has been amociated with a higher cancer risk. Most epidemiological studies to date have focused on breast cancer risk and evidence for ocher common tumers is limited$.$ We evaluated the risk for colorectal cancer in relation to shift work. history in Spain.

METHDO$5$: This analyes included $1626$ colorectal cancer cases and $3378$ population controls of both sexes, erirplled in $11$ regions of Spain. Sociodemographic and liferble information was assessed in face$-$to$-$face interviews. Lifetime occupational hirtary. including thift work, was also assested during the intentems. We ertimated the risk of colorectal cancer associated wich rocatints and pertmanent shift work uring uncond tional logingic regression analysis adjusting for potenelal confounders.
