Do not fill in forms for contests, rebates, or draws that ask for more information than you are prepared to give. B. Be wary of unsolicited emails, telephone calls, or mail asking for personal or financial information. C. Shield your personal identification number when using an ATM or a PIN pad. D. Always keep your identity documents in your purse or wallet. E. Cut up expired and unused credit cards. The numbers on these cards could still be used by an identity thief
