The ultimate goal of the system is to provide readers the required information without much intervention from them (maybe at most, they provide ratings of news articles for you to personalize the next time) E. Proposed Modules (Individual Work): 1. News Crawler; (CRAWLER MODULE) The Task: The module is responsible for creation of news corpus (collections of news articles) by crawling selecting news site(s). Dates, titles and news contents are to be organized into plain text file for sharing with other modules. Suggested Innovation: To crawl news from more than one sites to build larger corpus, sorted by date.
