The paychecks that salespeople can receive often far exceed the average paycheck in the country by many many times. I always stop and think about a friend of mine named "Jack." Jack wanted to be an elementary school teacher. When he graduated from college he took a job as a teacher and he got married. After his first baby was born he realized very quickly he needed to make more money. So, Jack quit the teaching job and took a sales job. His company trained him and today, for many years, he has been good for half a million a year.
