Acting 'ethically' may seem obvious, but it is not always. Often a researcher will want to disguise or must disguise the real reason for their research in order to achieve results unbiased by participant interpretations. Think of an example where this might be the case (real or hypothetical); would you consider such research unethical, and if so, why or why not?
