To do so, you are required to follow the steps given below and complete the templates associated with each step: Step 1: Identify the transactions required to be included in journal entries and document the identified transactions using Template 1. Step 2: Identify general ledger accounts affected according to organisational policies, procedures and accounting standards and document using Template 2. o Analyse the transaction provided. o Analyse the organisational policies, procedures and accounting standards. o Determine and document the general ledger accounts affected according to organisational policies, procedures and accounting standards and document using Template 2 Step 3: Prepare and document journal entries based on the transactions provided according to organisational policies, procedures and accounting standards. Document the transaction using Template 3. Step 4: Assess follow-up steps for journal entries. o Consult your Supervisor and gain approval for the journal entries to be posted into the general ledger system.
