ACTIVITY #2: JOB POSTING REVIEW

Students visit your future professional site (NATA, NSCA, etc.). Review 2 postings from those sites or others that are relevant. Identify the common components in each of these postings. How do the items in each category differ? How are the items different from one category to the next? If there are differences between the categories, why are there differences? List the basic and preferred requirements for each category of job posting. They should include years of experience, type of degree, other certifications required, any licensure or registration requirements, and any other job requirements mentioned within the posting. At the conclusion of this activity, you should have a composite of what requirements are often needed for various types of positions.
