Add one additional point that this student didn't discuss. Support your reasoning. In the article "Suicide Risk and Anti-depressant Drugs" written by Madeline Levin and other researchers they discuss the risk of antidepressants. The researchers were trying to find relationships between antidepressants and suicidal thoughts since that is what they suggested was happening. Although they are looking for supporting data, the findings from each study suggest contradicting things. This first was only a conversation about kids in 2004 and 2005 but then it was extended to young adults. Once data was brought from several different experiments they all said different things. A study from 2010 found no significant risk for adults. Instead, it was found that venlafaxine was the antidepressant that was much more likely to be taken by adults who would attempt suicide. Another study in 2015 says that they did not find any meaningful differences in the risk of suicide when comparing different types of antidepressants. Throughout this article, the author addresses how you can not come to a conclusion about the hypothesis because the data is not fit to support it. The author acknowledges one fault in the research is that it could be the ineffectiveness of the medicine that makes people commit suicide and not the actual medicine itself. The different results for children compared to adults are affected by. a lot of other factors such as metabolism, age, ethnicity, home life, and also genetic differences. I think this account is adequate because the researchers present all the evidence free of bias. They acknowledge the faults, and in their summary state how you cannot take much away from these pieces of research since so many other things affect it. add one additional point that the other student didn't discuss. Support your reasoning
