Use the instructions in Sections C$\mathrm{.}2\mathrm{.}2$ and C$.3$ to install and use LTEX. This assignment is based on Chapters $1$ and $2$ of The Not So Short Introduction to $LA{T}_{E}x{2}_{}($LShort$).$

This assignment must be submitted in the form of a single PDF file. The PDF file should include all of the $A{T}_{E}x$ and BibTEX files used to prepare your submission. If the $E{T}_{E}x$ files are omitted you will receive $0\%$ for the assignment. You may use the template provided here $($and under "Additional Resources" on myUnisa$)$ to help you achieve this. The template provides a means to include the relevant $H{T}_{E}x$ files in the PDF file.

Answer the following questions in short. If you refer directly to $L{A}^{T}Ex$ command code in an answer, use the verbatim environment $($see LShort page $41).$

What does the acronym WYSIWYG stand for? Give an example of a word processing package that is based on it$.$

Question $2$: $3$ Marks

Why would LTEX not run when symbols such as $$,,$ &$,\{$ are used? How is this overcome? How would you type a backslash $(\frac{\frac{?}{?}}{?})$ in $E{T}_{E}x?$

Suppose you want to specify a package that will add new features to your ${?}^2{T}_{E}x$ document. Which command would you use and where would you place it in the source code of your document?

If you want the first page of your document not to show the page number, which command would you use?
