Flooring and Carpet

Create a Windows application for purchasing floor covering. Allow the length and width $($feet and inches$)$ to be entered. nBe sure to include program statements that will keep your program from crashing if the end user enters non$-$numeric characters for the room dimensions. Have a control that displays different floor covering types along with the prices of floor covering. Using a tab control, provide selections such as Hardwood, Carpet and Laminate. On each tab allow the user to select a type and show prices. Include, for example, options like Oak, Maple, Walnut and Cherry Hardwood floors with prices per square yard. Make up your own prices. After the user enters the room dimensions and selects the floor covering and price, display the total cost to cover the room. Include a checkbox to include the labor for covering the floor or uncheck if they want to do the work themselves. Labor runs $$30\mathrm{.}00$ per square yard. Include a button to clear the options and reset the forms.

Provide a method to clear the form $($ClearForm$).$

Include a menustrip control with File, Edit and Help menu items.

Under Menu File, put:

$$ a control called New and sends an event to a ClearForm method

$$ a control called Exit that calls an exit method

Under Menu Edit put

$$ a control called Font to fire a fontDialog event

$$ a control called Color to fire a colorDialog event.

Under Menu Help put:

$$ a control called Help that will create execute a method that shows a MessageBox with basic information about the program.

Include a Submit button that creates a MessageBox listing the items selected, their costs, any labor and a total for all charges. This would be a receipt for the customer. Make sure the output makes sense.
