Liquid Limit $(LL)=38\%$ and Plastic Limit $(PL)=28\%.$

$1\mathrm{.}1$ Calculate the soil percentage finer than $75m$ size and state if the soil is suitable for foundation of a $3-$storey building.

$1\mathrm{.}2$ Calculate the percentage fraction coarser than $4mm.$

$1\mathrm{.}3$ Calculate the percentage fraction finer than $4mm.$ Also state if the soil is suitable for foundation of a $3-$storey building.

$1\mathrm{.}4$ State the group category the given soil belongs to using USCS classification method.

$1\mathrm{.}5$ Determine the group category of the soil using the Liquid Limit and Plastic Limit values according to the soil plasticity chart shown in Figure $1.$
