After completing the diagnostic quizzes for Topic 1, I think I did pretty well. My overall scores were 85%, 86% and 85% for Study Units 1, 2 and 3, respectively. I see room for improvement in Study Unit 2, subunit 2.3 Privileged Communication and Confidentiality with a score of 71%, Study Unit 3 subunits 3.3 Tax Planning and subunit 3.5 Dependents, with scores of only 50% in each. As I learned from the last course, the wording can be a bit tricky and some of the questions have to be carefully analyzed in order to select a best answer. As I expected, some of the material wasn't familiar to me, such as tax codes, regulations and the different statutes of limitations for specific tax issues. I plan to focus in on and devote more study time to the areas that need more attention. Additionally, I plan to review the videos more than once, find outside resources such as Farhat's lectures, and utilize the study sessions in Gleim to create mock quizzes and sample tests. Repetition makes things stick! This a great study tool and helped me better prepare for the final in the last course
