After doing some research, I found that the thought resurrecting or de-extinction of an animal would be a great thing to accomplish, however, i do not think it would be a 100% genuine replica of the extinct animal for at least two reasons. The first reason is that if the animal is truly extinct, a surrogate would have to be used for the birthing process because there is no natural parent. The surrogate animal will naturally pass some of its DNA while gestation occurs, making it impossible to have a true replica of the extinct animal. The second reason is due to DNA degradation the DNA used will be fragmented, kind of like in the science fiction movie "Juristic Park", the fragmented DNA will have to be patched with the animals closest relative, which will be hard to find for those animals that have been extinct for centuries. I learned of the Tauros which have been extinct since 1627, biologists have attempted to resurrect a true replica, however they have only achieved 99% match after eight generations. Even though I think an animal being resurrected might not have 100% DNA of the extinct relative, it could give us a better idea of its habits. Like I read in my research bring back natural predators for some of the uncontrolled populations of animals whose predators have gone extinct
