After reading through the Atomic Bomb reading make a judgement. Should the US have dropped the two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Was their use necessary, did it help end the war? Was the decision to use them based off of racism? To keep the Soviet Union out of the war in the Pacific? Or simply because a full scale invasion of Japan would have been long and costly$?$ A combination of all of them? If you were in Harry Truman's shoes would you have made the same decision?
