After studying GU's mission, a principle I intend to implement into my career is to be a transformative leader who strives to change my community by placing the interests of others before my own, as my degree and career choice will not only require me to implement this, but any leader or person in any position of power, no matter how big or small, should want to strive for a better community and place others interests above their own. A principle I want to implement into my personal life is to be an innovative thinker. I"ve rarely faced a hard obstacle where innovative thinking didn't help the situation. Lastly, I strive to live a spiritual and empowering life, and to raise my children up in the way God intended, which is to lead and serve others, therefor, I try to implement all of these principles in not only my own daily life, but my children's as well.
