"I do believe that having a web-based TMS would be beneficial for my small TL trucking company. It would be beneficial to the company in several different ways, for instance, one way is that it is more efficient and offers complete transparency for all shipments. Another way is, it offers ways increase your customer service and boost sales. Also, it offers a great way to improve your billing and accounting processes so that they run more smoothly and payments are received in a timely and beneficial manner. Another huge benefit is its ability to decrease resource costs. Tasks typically performed by accounting or shipping employees, such as validating charges, can be processed automatically through the Transportation Management System (R2Logstics, 2022). There are more benefits of having a web-based TMS in place for a small trucking company than what I have listed here but these are just a few that caught my attention right away."
