Why does a divisional structure make it difficult for us to share solutions?

The divisional structure has redundancies that create more work for your managers, so they don't have time to communicate with other managers.

The mid$-$level managers in the SBUs only care about pleasing their bosses, so they don't communicate with other SBUs.

How would we redefine this technology in general terms?

The patents could be considered for spraying anything or for attracting particles that aren't dust and dirt.

Each product listed can be considered its own line with additional extensions coming from that product as well.

By combining products and patents in new ways, we can come with extensions based on new combinations.
