Alternative dispute resolution $($ADR$)$ refers to any method of$$resolving disputes$($defines disputes$)$ without$$litigation $($defines litigation$).$ ADR regroups all processes and techniques of conflict resolution that occur outside of any$$governmental authority $($defines governmental authority$)"($Alternative Dispute Resolution, $2021).$

However, although ADR is available, many still desire to go through litigation. Is there a reason that you feel as though a business may desire to go the traditional litigation route rather than using ADR to settle a dispute?$$That is$,$ go through a full$-$blown out trial rather than using an alternative dispute resolution method such as arbitration, mediation, conciliation, etc.?
