However, recharging them can be a problem. Gas stations are everywhere, but recharging stations are not. Our city should support electric cars to help protect the environment. We have the ability to make a difference. For example, the city could reserve some of its parking lots for electric cars only. This would reduce the number of gas-powered cars coming into the city. It would also encourage people to buy electric cars, which pollute less. The city could also offer recharging stations in city parking lots. The city could profit from selling electricity for charging car batteries. The results would be fewer gas-powered cars downtown, less pollution in the air, and new income from the recharging stations. Supporting electric cars would be a good decision for our city.
