An article published on Bloomberg from last month talked about how the "metaverse market" will be worth almost a trillion dollars by 2030. With companies like Facebook (whoops, I meanMeta) and Walmart already neck deep in the race to reach digital consumers, it seems like a WALL-E type dystopia is nothing short of an inevitability. I mean heck, this time last year the NFT craze was taking off and creating a $2.6B market of "digital art."
