An industry$-$based case study is a research method focused on deeply analyzing a specific problem within an industry, with the goal of applying theoretical concepts to real$-$world challenges in order to develop practical solutions. For this assessment, you are tasked with identifying a maintenance$-$related problem within an industrial setting. Demonstrate how the problem has been addressed using maintenance engineering tools and concepts. Your case study will be evaluated based on the following: $1.$ Background Provide an overview of the selected organization. Detail the equipment or system in focus and its importance to the organization's operations. Incorporate diagrams, flowcharts, or system overviews that give a clearer understanding of the equipment or system under study. $2.$ Problem Identification This section clarifies why this case study topic was selected. Describe the specific problem in detail. State the objectives and why the case study is being conducted. $3.$ Literature Review Explain the relevant formulas, theories, or methodologies that you will apply to analyze the maintenance issue. Refer to any maintenance engineering textbook and ensure that you include references. $4.$ Method of Data Collection and Analysis For a case study, the collection of primary data is expected such as equipment performance data, sensor data from equipment, maintenance logs or maintenance schedules. Atleast $20$ instances of data is expected. Evidence of the primary data can be included in the appendix. Describe how you will be addressing the problem and how the collected data will be analyzed. $5.$ Analysis of the Data Analyse the collected data clearly, using calculations, tables, or graphs. $6.$ Discussion of the Results This must relate to the analysis done in the previous section. What are your findings, and this must indicate that the identified problem was addressed. Discuss how the findings relate to the problem and whether the identified problem has been solved or mitigated. $7.$ Conclusion Summarize your main points of discussion $($what was the objective, what was the problem, how was data collected and analyzed. What were your findings?$).$ What are your recommendations.
