An integral component of the ability to make strategic decisions is to have an educated understanding of the environmental aspects that can impact an organization. The internal and external environments most both are examined. As you have learned through your assigned readings, the external environment represents factors that are outside of an organization's control while the internal environmental factors can be more controlled within the four walls, per say, of the organization.
