Porter's 5 Forces Model

The second analysis you will do is a Porter's Five Forces Analysis. Once again you should start with a one page Porter's model with items listed under the appropriate headings then explain each item you put on the chart and why you included it. You should have 3-4 sentences per item.

Porter's 5 Forces Analysis

• A brief introduction indicating what a Porter's 5 Forces Analysis is and what you are planning to demonstrate.
• A one or 2 page diagram of Porter's Model including bullets beside each force that relate to your company and the marketplace you are in.
• A section listing each bullet point found on the Porter's diagram with a detailed explanation beside each one (3 - 4 sentences)
• A summary of the key discoveries of the Porter's analysis as they relate to you and your target market.
