Many individuals object to sex work on the basis that sex work is exploitative in its nature; sex workers, the majority of whom are women, are selling their bodies for profit. However, professional athletics also involves this type of exploitation, so if someone is opposed to sex work due to it being exploitative they should also be opposed to professional athletics, and if one thinks that professional athletics is permissible they should also think that sex work is permissible.
