Clean is required to replace the Window Sheen products under subsection 2-327 of the Uniform Commercial Code rules which states, "the risk of loss does not pass to the buyer until accepted" (Legal Information Institute, n.d.). Johnson did not accept the products so Clean is still responsible. The return on the original products is at Johnsons risk and expense. The buyers right to inspection of goods the buyer has " a right before payment or acceptance to inspect them at any reasonable place and time and in any reasonable manner"(Legal Information Institute, n.d.). The "expenses of inspection must be borne by the buyer but may be recovered from the seller if the goods do not conform and are rejected" (Legal Information Institute, n.d.). There is a question in regards to if the inspection was in a reasonable time.
