All wire sizes are AWG or kcMil and rated for 75 deg C (unless otherwise stated) 1) The following load is fed with a #6 AWG copper conductor. Determine the maximum size circuit breaker permitted to protect this conductor. Use Table 13 for common Circuit Breaker sizes. Circuit Breaker 120V Maximum size of circuit breaker permitted- 2) The following load is fed with a #8 AWG aluminum conductor. Determine the maximum size circuit breaker permitted to protect this conductor. Use Table 13 for common Circuit Breaker sizes. Circuit Breaker 120V Maximum size of circuit breaker permitted - 3) The following load is rated protected by a 20A circuit breaker. Determine the minimum size conductor required to feed the load.
