And yes, hedging is a good strategy, but does it matter if the volume of forex transactions is very high or very low? For example, if our importer only buys stuff from the Belgian exporter every few months, does hedging make sense? isn't there a transaction cost with some hedging strategies that if we are only doing this forex transaction every few months, then maybe just buying euro at the spot rate would be better?
