Anonymity is$,$ in a sense, a much harder problem than confidentiality. For the latter, we know that

encryption, done right, can provide a great level of confidentiality that even the most powerful

and well$-$funded attacker may be unable to penetrate. The former, i$.$e$.,$ anonymity, is much harder

to achieve, for a number of reasons.
