It is flexible because it not only helps older workers, but it also engages the younger worker at the same exact time. In some of the companies thatl consult for, especially in manufacturing environments, I encourage my clients to implement mentorships, having older workers mentor young workers that are just starting out in the field and this helps the older worker find value in what they are doing, but it gives the younger worker a hands-on training experience from someone who has been in the field for a long time
