It is 1:30 AM and two people dressed in black and wearing face covers and gloves use a crowbar to break in the glass of the back door of a home in a wealthy neighborhood. They had watched the home for several days and knew the owners were out of town. They enter the house and gather jewelry and sliverware, which the put in a canvas bag they brought with them. They leave through the back door.

2. Read the description of the crime and state what the law says about the elements (a) the Mens Rea (criminal intent) and the (b) the Actus Reus (criminal act).
