- Do you agree with the results?* How does this information help you better understand your unique talents? Give specific examples.
A lot of the information from the survey is correct and it describes me however I would switch up the order in which my strengthsWere ordered.Right now the order of my strength 1 to 5 is realtor, intellection,Futuristic, strategic, and restorative. I would switch them to being chronologicallyIntellection,Futuristic, realtor,Restorative, and strategic.Again like I said I do embody each of these strengths all of the talents described under all of the strengths describe me but I do feel like the survey missed the mark on the order of my strengths. For exampleI embody intellection as my strengths more than I d.o anything else. Whenever I was reading the definition of the intellection strength described me to a T. What really made me think that intellection is my top strength over realtor is the description about reading several books or publications at the same time. iCan without a doubtPursue multiple books put them down pick up another and continue reading where I left off on the last book a couple of days later and still remember what I was reading and still be able to pick the book up in and continue reading like I was.I have never been able to describe that and I do that so frequently where I'm reading a book and then I get a new book I start reading that one and then I just go back-and-forth and I can juggle multiple different thoughts and processes and ideas in my mind with efficiency and continuity And I really think thatDescribes me most often.Secondly,I often envision the future more than I think that I should I d.o this thing where I maladaptive daydream which is a psychological disorder in which a person often daydreams for a prolonged period of time this is because I have a very creative and imagined imaginative mind and I space out a lot of the times so I do believe that the futuristic part of me describes myselfLike 80% of the time that's why I put it second. Then, I would put realtor third because I d.o agree that I enjoy my close relationships with my friends and family and I'm not really making much of an effort to go out and make new friends. Well I don't make that effort I'm more than willing to create new friendships and bonds and when I do they are very close bonds and they mean a lot to me. I agree with all that that is 100% true but I don't think that is my top strength that I don't identify so many of my personality traits with the strength that's why I would put it third, but it does describe me in a sense when it comes to friends in familiar relationshipsBut that's just a small part of who I am.Oh also, restorative was initially my fifth strength but I would put it as my fourth string just because I think that I relate more to being a restorative Individual who's is adept at dealing with problems. Is very curious and definitelyDevote a lot of time and energy to studying something that I find intriguing rather than being strategic. For being restorative I definitely do break down a lot of the thoughts that I have going inside of my head and at the same time I'm also a very curious individual so if something peaks my interest then I will more than likely study it and understand it more than anything so that is why I put it at my fourth strength. Finally, strategic was initially my fourth strength but I'm putting it at my fifth strength just because I feel like out of all the five strengths given it is the Least strengths that I am consistent with.I definitely am a strategic personI am a leader in a lot of things and I'm really good at teamwork but I feel like I am only adapt to doing those things in a professional setting or in professional instances of my life rather than it just being something that I naturally do I feel like I've learned to do it more so in a professional setting that is the only reason why I put it at the faith is I embody a lot more in a professional setting rather than just my sole identity. Overall I think the survey did great at suggesting the top five strengths. I think the only thing that was wrong was the order that the strengths were put inBut other than that it was a really great survey and it was able to tell me a lot about myself.
- Discuss how salient aspects of your cultural identity are related to your strengths.
So the salient aspects of my cultural identity: are ethnicity and race, religion and spirituality, and age and generational influences.
- Discuss how you see each of your top five strengths demonstrated in your personal or professional life, or in your vocation. Give specific examples.
Relator: My being a realtor in my personal life is demonstrated by having a very close knit friend group. There are two or three friends that I would consider my very close friends and I would do just aboutAnything for them. I love to hang out with them and I love to plan little fun girls nights with them because it makes me feel really good having a very close individual that I can talk to. In my personal life I am Very well aware that good friends are very hard to find, this is something that my mom has also taught me from her experiences in life and so I'm sure that one of her top shrinks would be a realtor as well. She has always taught me that it is better to have one close friend than 10 straight friends. Professionally called mom I definitely consider all the details and I'm very meticulous in my work. I try to do everything as efficiently as I can possibly do. I try not to think about what my boss wants of me or what would be efficient enough for my boss but rather what is efficient enough for myself. Because at the end of the day I will always d.o my best work if I'm trying toBe considerate and productive. Professionally it is also hard for me to go out to peoples houses and make small talk with random people for my job. I find thisLike grading teeth because you have to find common ground in the people that you talk to and when you're talking to a person that is random there is hardly any known conversation to bring up so you just have to go on a whim which to me is very intimidating.
Intellection: Personally I relate to intellection more than I d.o any of the other Strengths, I love to think and I love to read and I love to watch older movies because I love the cinematic masterpiece as well as all the storylines. I definitely read books every single day in my personal lifeAnd I find that they both call me and bring a lot of peace into my life. I am the type of person that will read different books at the same time and still be able to juggle all of the storylines and not get them confused. Professionally I would say that I am very good at juggling multiple tasks at once. My boss could give me two or three things that he wants me to compose and I'll characterize them in my mind exactly which way would be the best way according to the difficulty, the location and theTime. For example in my day-to-day activities I have to answer voicemails write down call logs pick up cats to participate in the TNR programTake cat to the vet pick up cats from the vetPerform wellness checks and go out in the field to perform calls.I will dictate in my mind where the location of every single task is and almost create like a little roadmap in my mind that will efficiently get meFrom task to task in the most effective way. So I'll go to the first call that is going to be the farthest away and I'll work my way back to my office doing all the little tasks that I have to do in between.
Futuristic: Personally,I am a very imaginative person in my personal life I will often space out and just start daydreaming in my office or whenever I'm trying to compose schoolwork or at home. This also allows me to be a very innovative thinker and often my family comes to me when they need helpCompleting something that is academic that requires a lot ofCreativity to compose.I am also always thinking about the future and my role in it. For example I am considering itDifferent job prospects and so part of my daydreaming is just me imagining what that job will be like and how it will affect my day-to-day life my husband my family my living situation and my animals.Professionally me being a futuristic person I am very innovative and I am also able to plan a lot of tasks ahead of time. For example I have a calendar in my office that is six months in advance all the way until Christmas time that has every little tiny detail that you can think of that I would need to add different vet appointments that I haveDifferent calls that I need to check up on in a couple of months and it has everything written out from all of my notes that I keep on my desk on the calendar that way I can see it in real time and I'm always adding stuff to it when I think of it and it's a way for me to be able to plan ahead more efficiently.
Strategic: Strategically in my personal lifeI identify as a very competitive person so strategic wise i can be when it comes to obstacles orSituations that I need to solve I can be very strategic when it comes to that however I do see more of my strategic Ness in my professional lifeFor example,I am a very well lead leader when it comes to group activities, Work, groups, etc.In all of myTime of joining groups in high school and teams I have always found that I am appointed as a leader or one of the leaders just because I am driven by my need to constantly be the best that I can be and that When I am being the best that I can be I also really enjoy teamwork because I get to share my ideas and thoughts with others and because of this I'm always appointed as a leader. For example, my eighth grade year of middle school I was appointed as the cheerleading captain and it was the first ever leadership position that I ever had and I was giving it because of my ability to cheer as well as my ability to lead. MyJunior and senior year of high school I was also the varsity cheerleading captain of the team for the same reasons. Now professionally within four months of myJob I was able to become the manager of the shelter because I am very driven by my talents and I love to lead people to be the very best and I just wanna make everything as great as possible.
Restorative: PersonallyI find that in my life I am very restorative. Whenever I find that I am either gaining a little bit of weight or losing a little bit of weight or I'm not sleeping that well I will create a plan with different dietary needs vitamins anything of the sort that can help me better my sleep or my diet.I create a lot of self improvement plans for myselfAnd I will often write in my planner all the little routines that I have my for myself and the goals that I have at the end of those routines for example I have a hair routine skin routine nail routine diet routine and workout routine and all of those routines are because I want better hair better skin better nails Toner body and a better diet. ProfessionallyI find that I am very precise in my place of work and sometimes if I'm not as precise I know that after I make a mistake I don't make that mistake again I learn from it and then grow and that definitely aligns with the restorative strength.
