Answer the following questions. Show all work (where appropriate) if you want any partial credit. You can NOT work with a classmate(s) on the quizzes. You may not google answers. All work is expected to be your own. It is up to you when you take it, and you do not need to finish it in one sitting (that is, you can start it today and then come back to it tomorrow). You are, however, free to use a calculator, your notes, text, practice problems, etc. when completing the quizzes. There is no time limit for completion of a quiz, other than the day that it is due, which is indicated above. You do not need to print this out (obviously you can if you want to). If you choose to not print it out and you put your answers on a sheet of paper, there is no need to write out the question-just provide your answer. This should be submitted as a single pdf file in our Canvas site (if you do not know how to do this contact me), or you can turn it in to me at my office (College Hall 410). If I am not there just slide it under my door. You can ask me questions about the quiz. Good luck. 1. A statistician was hired by a large hospital to investigate the relationship between the number of unauthorized days that employees are absent per year and the distance between home and work (in miles) for the employees. A sample of 8 employees was taken, and the table below displays the data that was collected. The following table gives the data on the distance to work in miles and number of unauthorized days absent for a random sample of 10 employees. Answer the following questions based on the given data.
