This week we are focusing on Alternative Spaces as critical elements of contemporary art scenes. Part 1: choose one of the spaces or groups described by Julie Ault in our assigned reading for this week. Give the name of the alternative space you chose and briefly describe what it did and why it is interesting to you. Part 2: share what city you plan to research for the City Project. This week you are submitting your proposal. Decide on what city you will focus on this semester.
