For this assignment, access the Helioviewer website (https://helioviewer.org/). There is an interactive tutorial on the website that I recommend you work through if you are not familiar with the controls on the website.We will be analyzing the solar maximum of the years 2000/2001 (sun cycle 23) to determine whether the daily sunspot counts were significantly higher or lower than average.
A.For this assignment, first calculate the mean number of sunspots during solar maximum for the years 1700 - 2014 using the data provided.Also calculate the standard deviation for this dataset.
