- You will be using a Switch on the HMI to simulate the presence of the part.
- The temperature sensor is an analog sensor that provides output voltage between 0 V to 10 V to indicate temperature between 0 to 2000 deg. F. To simulate the temperature, you will be using an I/O Field to enter the voltage between 0 to 10 V .
1. Operator places part in a fixture then pushes the Start button.
2. When the process is operating System ON light should be green otherwise the light should be red.
3. An inductive Heating coil heats rapidly to 1500 deg. Fahrenheit.
4. When the temperature reaches greater than 1500; the coil turns OFF and a Valve opens which sprays water on the part for 10 s to complete the heat treatment.
5. Once treatment is completed, Process Complete light should be ON.
6. Then the operator removes the part and the sequence can begin again.
7. Note there must be a Part present or the sequence should not start.
8. Process can be stopped at any time using Stop button.
