Apply problem solving Methodology

Problem Situation: You are planning a vacation trip on a budget of $$3000.$ You want to take a trip that is within your budget and allow you the most discretionary spending money for fun and shopping. Identify two possible choices and research pricing for each. Using the problem solving template, move through the steps to come to a solution.

As you work though the problem$-$solving process, you may add real personal information or create a scenario familiar to you for role$-$play. As you work through this initial problem$-$solving assignment, it is important to think about what each process step is asking and what type of information is necessary.

Note you will need to begin with a more focused problem statement than the one given above. Be sure you complete each section of the template. So$,$ the problem you focus on should be complex enough to require sub$-$problems. And, you should include some numerical analysis.
