  1. If you're new to Adobe InDesign, follow these instructions to create an 8.5 x 11" mini-poster.
    1. Choose File > New document. Set pages at 1. Uncheck facing pages. Size is 8.5 x 11", either portrait or landscape, and margins are .5, bleed .125.
    2. Download the Charity: Water brand book, Charity: Water photos (large), and Charity: Water logo (.eps) at theCharity: WaterDownloads page.
    3. Place a Charity: Water image of your choosing so that it reaches bleed lines (8.75 x 11.25). Referencing the Charity: Water brand book, develop a call-to-action headline at the top that carefully relates to the image you chose.
    4. Develop a one hundred word paragraph at 10 pt. two-thirds of the way down the poster and inside the margins and use a bold lead-in line.
    5. Export the final layout as a PDF.
