This class has helped me a lot with reviewing my MBS and learning how the Junior Enlisted Performance Evaluation System works (JEPES). Due to the small units I have been apart of, my last duty station being an I&I with no subordinates under me to write evaluations for, and now this duty station with a total of 4 staff members that are Sergeants and above, and Recovering Service Members (RSMS) that range from Chief Warrant Officers to Lance Corporals. Unfortunately, while you are a RSM you won't rate a JEPES occasion, and your evaluations are essentially frozen during your time at Wounded Warrior Battalion (Marines are still able to be promoted). Sergeants and above receive non-observed FITREPS and only input a standardized billet description that all RSMs receive when they check in.
