Aroom has eight fluorescent fixtures. Each fixture uses three fluorescent lamps totaling 150 W including the ballast. It is desired to switch on and off the center lamp of each fixture for a low level of illumination and the other two lamps by another switch for a medium level of illumination. Switching on all three lamps will provide the high- est level. The switching shall be accessible from either of the two entries to the room. The room configuration, lighting layout, and switching loca- tions are shown in the following floor plan.
