As a learning point, think about what data do you need to collect if you want to improve the layout. For example, as we discussed briefly in class that to apply the process layout in improving a grocery stores layout, you need to know what items are often purchased together by customers. What about applying the same but to an online store? What data do you need to collect to improve warehouse layout that fulfill online orders? Also, think about how to formulate the product layout in an LP format. What are the constraints?
