Question:
As Grandparents, parents, sisters, brothers, and productive citizens of society, we are always concerned that our children do not hang out with the so-called wrong crowd. Let me tell you of the troubles of one young lady with flowing golden hair.
She was caught with drugs in her possession. The police do not want to bust little kids; they want to get the folks selling drugs to kids. So they took her down to the police station for questioning. She was afraid and wouldn't tell where she got the drugs or what other kids were using.
"We could lock you up - for a long time."
"All we want to know is who gave these drugs to you?"
"We need your help to catch the bad guys."
She listened, and when her mama came, the police let her go with this instruction,"If you see them again, let us know right away. Ya, hear, now?"
The tale of Goldie Locks and the Three Bears continues as you remember it from childhood. However, I made the following changes to the traditional story:
- Goldie "did a line" before lying down in Baby Bear's bed, and when the Bear family returned and awakened Goldie, she grabbed the Bear's stash and jumped out of the window.
- Goldie went directly to the police station and handed over the Bear's stash to the nice policeman who had questioned her.
