Question:
As of today, Tesla (TSLA) is selling for $690.50, up over $24, and has a P/E ratio of just over 1,043.Tesla and its associated ventures have been the darling of investors for the last few years and people have made a fortune on the stock.Even I made over 100% on a very small investment in TSLA, which was made at the urging of my teenage son.I don't currently own any TSLA, but I'm very curious about the stock and have gone back and forth on my thinking.
I have argued for years that Tesla will not be the only EV competing in the market, and may not even be the best available. But others argue, with some validity, that Tesla is much more.Do some research and make a logical argument for or against investing in TSLA at the current time.It should be clear that you've done your homework.I've given you a little head start on the EV side with articles 20-24 in the required reading list.I realize you don't have a crystal ball, but if I was forcing you to invest $100,000, either long or short, on TSLA, what would you do?
