As the CEO a top priority is to ensure safety for staff and patients. To do so I will ensure safety training for all staff on a regular basis. This will keep the mind refreshed in case any occurrences arise. I will also install safety measures such as call buttons around secluded areas such as the bathroom in case a patient is to need assistance. Another measure would be a code system over the intercom, and ensure each staff member has the list on codes readily available. When I started my employment as a clerk, a colleague collapsed and I was unprepared to call a code for immediate assistance. Since then, I have made sure to be as aware of the coding system as possible, as well as protocols when one is placed.
